Riskebiz Internet Services Inc. specializes in developing mobile web based applications. Our core focus is the development of tools and services to reach entrepreneurs in the developing world through the Mobile Internet. Founded in 1998, Riskebiz started as a technology company providing internet services for the insurance industry, hence the name "RISK" ebiz.
Kevin Day - President
Kevin Day founded Riskebiz in 1998. An entrepreneur with broad experience in all aspects of starting and building a small business, Kevin also heads the mobile website and Mobile Internet application development team. Kevin has knowledge of running both private and public companies and has been actively involved in private financings as well as taking companies public.
Kevin has a degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
Mr. Day is also currently serving as Director of the British Columbia Captive Insurance Association (BCCIA).
Geoff Day
Retired from the Bank of Montreal in 1991 as Senior Vice-President, Corporate and Government Banking, Western Canada, having served in several management positions in various locations in both national and international operations, since joining the Bank in 1953. Active in community affairs in Vancouver since arriving in that city in 1983, serving as Director of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, B.C. Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, Vancouver Art Gallery, Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club and the Forest Alliance of B.C. Also chaired fund-raising committees for the Vancouver General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Science World and the Salvation Army Appeal. Acted as the Financial Agent for the successful M.L.A. of Delta South in the Provincial Elections in 1996 and 2001. Served as Vice-Chairman of the Boundary Bay Airport Advisory Committee, advising the Corporation of Delta on operations and development of the Airport which was purchased from Transport Canada.
Geoff completed a four and a half year term as Commissioner and Vice-Chairman of the Fraser River Harbour Commission prior to that becoming the Fraser River Port Authority. Served as Director of Northern Trust Company, Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Northern Trust Corporation, Chicago.
Mr. Day has held executive positions with the Bank of Montreal in the international area resulted in considerable travel globally contacting and negotiating with Governments, Central Banks, major financial institutions and overseeing operations of the Bank's representative offices throughout the world.
James R. Clay
James Clay is a President of J.T. Insurance Services. Mr. Clay is also responsible for servicing major property and casualty accounts and is based in Vancouver.
James entered the insurance industry in 1991 from a large international bank as a surety trainee and accountant for the brokerage. He has extensive experience in a variety of industries including large construction, mining and property accounts.
Mr. Clay has considerable experience in risk management and currently holds a Fellowship in Risk Management - a new global designation. Mr. Clay is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada.
